Francesca Basso

Francesca Basso obtained her Master’s degree in Public Policy, curriculum Crime and Security Analysis, from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan in 2025, with a thesis on illicit pharmaceutical trafficking. In 2023, she graduated cum laude in International Politics and Economics from the University of Milan, with a thesis on human trafficking in international law. Her areas of interest include illicit markets, organised crime, money laundering, and criminal infiltration of the legal economy.
