Deborah Manzi

Researcher

Deborah Manzi is a postdoctoral research fellow and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a researcher at Transcrime. 

She obtained the International PhD in Criminology at Università Cattolica in February 2023 with a doctoral dissertation entitled “The Resilience of Criminal Networks: An Agent-Based Simulation Assessing Drug Trafficking Organizations Reactions to Law Enforcement Attempts at Disruption”. In September 2019 she received a Master’s degree with honours in Public Policy, major in Security Policy and in July 2017 she graduated with honours in Social Sciences from the same university. 

Her research interests include the resilience of criminal networks, organised crime, crime prevention, and statistical modelling for crime data.
