Caterina Gavioli

Caterina Gavioli is a Ph.D. candidate in the XLI cycle of the International Ph.D. in Criminology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and a researcher at Transcrime. In September 2023, she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology (specialising in Crime and Security) and, in September 2025, a Master’s degree in Public Policy (curriculum in Crime and Security Analysis) from the same university, with a thesis on waste trafficking. Her main research interests include illicit markets and the dynamics of criminal infiltration into the legal economy.
