“The theft of medicines in the EU”: the new report on pharmaceutical crime
Today we published the report “The theft of medicines in the EU”, the new paper presenting key results of the Medi-Theft Project.
The study was conducted by Marco Dugato and Cosimo Sidoti in collaboration with AIFA – Agenzia Italiana del farmaco, Arma dei Carabinieri, Fondazione SAFE, Affordable Medicines Europe Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato Italiano, Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia and the Institute for Medicines and Medical Devices of Montenegro – CINMED.
The paper focuses on the theft of medicines and medical devices, across EU countries, presenting the most relevant modi operandi used by criminals to steal and re-sell the stolen products
