Application of an automatic screening model and qualitative validation of the potential risk of conflict of interest

This study was conducted by Transcrime – Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore as part of the ACOI project (Assessing Conflict of Interest), funded by the European Union – Next Generation EU. The report presents the results of the experimental application of an automated screening model integrated with a qualitative validation system for identifying potential conflict of interest risks in Italy, based on the integration of personal, professional, and corporate data. This is to support Public Administration in detecting and preventing cases of overlap between public and private interests, to safeguard the transparency and impartiality of administrative action.
