TRAin TRAINING – Final Report

The final report of the TRAin TRAINING (Transfer Radicalisation Approaches in Training) project, funded by the European Commission’s Justice Programme, was carried out by Transcrime with the support of the Italian Ministry of Justice. The project aimed to improve and update knowledge on the phenomenon of radicalisation in prisons and on probation (PP) and to equip professionals with skills to interpret and identify early indicators of violent radicalisation. The report summarises the results of the evaluation of the theoretical classroom training and practical on-the-job training provided to Italian prison staff. The training involved 6 Italian regions, 12 pilot prisons and 180 trainees.
