The fight against trafficking in human beings in eu: promoting legal cooperation and victims’ protection

Trafficking in human beings (THB) has been attracting increasing interest from states, international bodies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), the media and academia. Yet it remains an understudied phenomenon and it deserves further investigation for multiple reasons.

The purpose of this project was to promote knowledge about THB from the perspective of both law enforcement and victims’ rights, being aware that in the past few years governments have tried to develop strategies for combating trafficking in human being.
