The FERMI project at a glance

This document outlines the main objectives, outcomes and tools of the FERMI project (Fake News Risk Mitigator), including the activities led by Transcrime. The project has been funded by the EU under the Horizon Europe programme. FERMI has developed an integrated framework to detect and monitor the spread of disinformation and information pollution, and to implement effective countermeasures. To this end, Transcrime has contributed to the development of a suite of AI-based tools that deliver real-time analysis of online disinformation campaigns and their offline impact.
