Raising AwareneSs for the protection of places of worsHip by pRomoting interfaith dIalogue on the use of advaNced tEchnologies
SHRINEs project aims at promoting an inter-faith network to raise awareness and dialogue among different religions on the importance of using technological solutions to better protect places of worship. Therefore, it will actively engage religious communities, tech providers, LEAs and public authorities.
The project studies concrete tech applications in different places of worship, exploring their potential beneficial impact on prevention and protection as well as the legal, ethical, and moral implications of their use.
Transcrime will work on the establishment of the inter-faith network and of a set of workshops ending in a report on vulnerabilities and threats of places of worship. It will also define a sustainability plan for the network after the completion of the project.
