This project will perform an analytical study investigating how institutional capacity may be correlated to illicit financial flows (IFFs) in Latin America and the Caribbean. In particular, Transcrime will:

  • Produce estimates of the IFFs;
  • Investigate (quantitatively and qualitatively) the determinants of the IFFs;
  • Formulate policy recommendations.
