The research, carried out for the UNODC, provides a review and analysis of the mechanisms that OCGs is using or is likely to use in the near feature to infiltrate the legal economy and strengthen their governance activities as a response to the COVID19 crisis. To do so, the research brief analyses case studies and evidence collected from global news sources and examines case studies pertaining to previous crises and emergency situations.
