CEASEFIRE

This project aims at increasing LEAs abilities to detect, analyze and track activities related to cross-border illicit firearms trafficking through two main activities:

1. development of advanced ΑΙ technologies to facilitate the activities of relevant actors;
2. establishment of fully-operational National Focal Points (NFPs) to reduce currently existing organizational, operational, legal, cooperation and information exchange challenges.

Transcrime will work on developing the criminological analysis, user requirements and policy recommendations, tracking firearms-related incidents in almost real-time European-scale, and highlighting best practices on firearms trafficking and lessons learned.
