It is the first research conducted in Italy and in Europe on the exchange of information between obliged entities for anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML\/CFT). The study consulted the 44 main Italian intermediaries (equivalent to around 70% of the total assets of the financial, gaming and betting sectors in Italy). The research was carried out by the <strong>Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore<\/strong> of Milan (<strong>Transcrime <\/strong>and <strong>Banks<\/strong> centers, and <strong>Crime&amp;tech<\/strong> spin-off) in collaboration with <strong>Deloitte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The findings were discussed at the &#8216;AML Data Sharing&#8217; event on May 19, with representatives from Universit\u00e0 Cattolica del Sacro Cuore \u2013 Transcrime and Banks, Deloitte, Transactie Monitoring Nederland (<a href=\"https:\/\/tmnl.nl\/\">website<\/a>), and various Italian banks and financial intermediaries.<\/p>\n<div class=\"standard-content large-text\">\n<p>The complete report is available on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transcrime.it\/en\/publications\/aml-data-sharing\/\">dedicated page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The new report AML Data Sharing: a survey on sharing data for anti-money laundering purposes has been published today.
