Maria Jofre will present the study on the strategies employed by Organized Crime during the COVID-19 pandemic to increase their profits and power (carried out with Alberto Aziani, Michele Riccardi and Gianluca Bertoni) at the side event “Building back better: countering the linkages between organized crime, drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the COVID-19 context and beyond” organized by the United Nations within the extraordinary sessions of the subsidiary bodies of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
