Marina

Martina Marchesi

Martina Marchesi is junior researcher at Transcrime. In April 2017 she received a Master’s degree with honours in International Cooperation Policies for Development (Faculty: Political and Social Sciences) at Università Cattolica, Milan, with a dissertation entitled “Dynamic Intersections? The Human Factor between Terrorism and Organised Crime”. In December 2013 she graduated in Linguistics and Cultural Mediation, Università degli Studi di Milano.
At Transcrime, she works on the following projects:
PROTON (Modelling the PRocesses leading to Organised crime and TerrOrist Networks), funded by the Horizon 2020 research programme of the European Commission.
– The Balanced Recipe Project, developing into to the publication of the academic book “Dual Markets – Comparative Approaches for Regulation”, published by Springer. The book focuses on present and past examples of policy approaches to regulation of goods and services with licit and illicit markets (dual markets).
