Maria Elena Cenci gradueted in 2009 in Languages, Cultures and International Communication at Università degli Studi di Milano, after the Bachelor’s degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation in 2007. In January 2011 she obtained a Master degree in “International Cooperation against Transnational Financial Organized Crime”, at Università degli Studi di Teramo. From March to June 2011 she took part in an Internship Programme at the Statistics and Survey Section of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna (UNODC). Currently, she is working as Projects’ manager assistant at the Transcrime Milan and she has worked as research assistant in the project “Organized Crime Portfolio” funded by the European Commission on the investments of organized crime in 7 EU Member States (IT, UK, FR, ES, NL, IE, FI).
