Francesca Maldi is a junior researcher at Transcrime since April 2019.
She is currently working on project “FLOWS – Displacement and Convergence of Illicit Flows (humans and goods)”, while from December 2018 to March 2019 she was an intern at Crime&tech, collaborating on projects “Retail security in Europe” and “Crime data”.
In March 2019 she received a Master’s degree in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations from Bocconi University in Milan. In November 2016 she graduated from the same university in Economic and Social Sciences.
From February to June 2018 she was an intern at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) in Bangkok, working on R&D in the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division (TIID).
During the first term of the A.Y. 2017/2018 she participated in the Erasmus Programme at Fudan University (School of International Relations and Public Affairs) in Shanghai, while in the summer of 2017 she taken part in the Campus Abroad Programme at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
