Third Report on Security in Trentino
Security, what needs to be done? From the communication to the planning of the interventions

On the 22nd of October 2001 Transcrime presented the report on security in Trentino published in collaboration with the Autonomous Province of Trento. The general message on Security policy – which runs throughout the report – is the need to reconstruct a relationship of trust between the population and institutions to increase the security of the citizens. Therefore, this means enacting a cycle of cultural legality, efficiency of institutions and carefully planned actions geared to the objectives and the results. All the ingredients to be found in Trentino and elsewhere but need improvement. This message is addressed to all the actors involved, institutions and otherwise, asking them to move onto a new debating phase on security: planning of real interventions.
